Institutional Architectures of Corporate Governance: The United States and the European Union
This project examines the institutional architecture of corporate governance in the United States and the European Union. It analyzes how corporate regulation emerges from different constitutional structures: a federal system in which authority is divided between the federal government and the states in the United States, and a supranational legal order built through legislative harmonisation among Member States in the European Union.
It explores how these institutional differences shape regulatory coordination, corporate governance rules, and the distribution of legal authority across jurisdictions.
